How to find Happiness

I was searching for Happiness everywhere outside,
The quest finally ended when i looked inside.”

Everyone of us longs to find happiness, joy and a reason to always keep smiling. You must be no exception and this is because remaining cheerful is a basic human nature. What if you find a way to always be happy and cheerful. If you find a way to become joyful and be in high spirits whenever you want to be.

The best way to find happiness is to create happiness and spread it to others around you.
Have you ever imagined how nice you feel after doing something good to others, guiding someone, teaching something to others, helping someone out or just being there for someone you are close to.

There is this other dimension, proved with experiments that when we start helping out others, our problems, issues, concerns do not worry us a lot and we somehow find strength to deal with and tackle all our issues.

Lets follow these simple tips to find happiness:

1. One ACT OF KINDNESS everyday :
Don’t think you have to change something big day 1. Start very small and anything that you can do easily. Put water for birds everyday in the morning. You can do something very small and easy for you that you can do everyday for any living being.

Do this for somedays and experience how good you feel. Better so something good during start of the day.

Feeling low? Angry on some situation ? Well, we are humans and there are phases when we feel depressed. Whenever you go through any such situation always remember how special and fortunate you are. The very fact that you are reading this article, i can make out that you have a decent life with access to all basic needs. You are fortunate to live in a healthy society, lucky to have a family, you don’t have to worry about where your next meal will come from or be anxious about having a roof over your head. Ever imagined how we take all these special things for granted. There are millions of people in this world who crave for such basic necessities all their life.Is this not an enough reason to be cheerful at this very moment.

Close your eyes for a minute and think of all these gifts of life.
This will give you enough strength to deal with your other problems.

3. Live for a GREATER CAUSE :
In simple words do something good for others, however small it may be. Help others in anyway you can.

Teach something, Listen someone out. Share something with someone in need, help a friend, colleague with a difficult task, cheer someone up, guide somebody.
This is one of the best ways to create happiness for yourself and for others. If you can go to bed every night with a feeling – “Today i did something good for someone”, Nothing can match this emotion.

4. 1 MINUTE CHARGER : Sit Back | Relax | Deep Breathe :
Whenever you want to charge yourself up quickly. Just sit back comfortably wherever you are, at home, office, traveling (not if you are driving 🙂 ). Close your eyes. Start very slow and deep breathing. Inhale deeply and exhale completely. Just keep focus on your breathing, air going in and coming out. If you have trouble focusing you can count with every inhale and exhale upto 30.
Just feel the energy generated within you after this.
With time and practice you can increase it to 2 – 5 mins.

If you try to understand life with a little depth, you will discover that happiness is found in small things in life, things that we can do easily, things that we take for granted and never imagine how fortunate we actually are. If you can understand and cherish this experience, your entire life will be a big happy celebration event.
